The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in the heart of nature. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. the highlight was definitely the pool, which provided a refreshing escape from the heat. being within walking distance of town, the river, and the mountains was a major plus.
We encountered issues such as a broken toilet and a leaky roof, which affected our comfort during our stay. we suspect there may have been bed bugs, as we woke up with unexplained bites on our bodies.

the hostel offered excellent facilities, including a restaurant with a variety of snacks and meals. the free breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day. the pool was spacious and had a convenient bar nearby. the property had various spots to relax and unwind, such as swings and net beds. There were also options for activities like yoga and working out. the hiking trails from the hostel were a bonus.
The private room I stayed in was uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to relax.

Our stay at Rio Elemento was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, right next to the bus station and with easy access to the mountains and tourist sites. The hostel itself was beautiful, with a stunning bar area where we could relax and charge our devices. The food was delicious and the communal eating area was very inviting.
In terms of cons, we did encounter some minor issues. The kitchenette for guests was a bit small and had limited cooking plates and pans.

I had a fantastic time at the lovely accommodation in Minca. The staff was incredibly helpful, giving me great tips on local attractions and places to explore. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center of town but still secluded enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The bar and swimming pool were cool hangout spots, and having WIFI was convenient. The presence of mosquito nets was a nice touch for added comfort.

Beautiful river and bird sounds in front of my garden room. Stayed an extra night but couldn't extend. Best out of 3 places in Minca. Friendly manager & receptionist, felt at home. Clean bathrooms, fun happy hour, easy to meet people. Would visit again. Gracias!

We had an incredible stay at a hostel tucked away in the jungle. the property was stunning, complete with a beautiful pool and a tranquil spot by the river where we could swim. There were plenty of areas to relax and unwind, including a little spa down by the river. the size of the hostel was impressive, offering breathtaking views of the jungle. Despite feeling secluded, we were only a short 5-minute walk from all the nearby restaurants. the bar was the perfect spot to hang out in the evenings, and the dorms stayed quiet for a peaceful night's sleep. the bar staff, especially Mario and Alejandro, made sure we had an unforgettable New Year's party. Special thanks to Nubia for her amazing yoga classes and good vibes. the breakfast options were delicious, with a choice of pancakes or eggs. We highly recommend Rio Elemento for its great vibes, fantastic facilities, and friendly staff. Cons: Nothing, all was great! 👍.

Perfect location, amazing atmosphere, and friendly staff. The large pool, river, hammocks, and rope swings provide a tropical paradise feel. The spacious and clean rooms are reminiscent of a hotel rather than a hostel.
There is a mandatory extra fee for coffee and water, which may be unexpected for some guests. The breakfast, although nice, is on the smaller side.
